The Guardian reports that Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso declined to confirm Enzo Fernández will remain at Stamford Bridge, stopping short of ruling out a sale. Manchester City have identified the 25-year-old Argentina midfielder as a target for their midfield rebuild following Rodri’s departure to Barcelona, and are weighing a potential £120m move before the window closes. Chelsea had set an unofficial written-bid deadline that has already passed without a formal offer.
