Calciomercato.com reports that Andrea Belotti has joined Modena after becoming a free agent following his latest Serie A spell with Cagliari. The striker has signed a contract running until June 2027, completing a move to the Serie B club. The report presents the transfer as one of Modena’s market signings, but does not provide the financial terms of the agreement in the available text.
Update (Calciomercato.com): Calciomercato.com reports that Andrea Belotti has rediscovered his form at Modena after a difficult spell with Cagliari. The striker was decisive in consecutive league victories over Empoli and Verona, helping Daniele Galloppa’s side move into third place in Serie B. Belotti joined Cagliari permanently from Como but saw his time there disrupted by a serious knee ligament injury, and his contract was not renewed after medical examinations prevented an agreement to continue. Left without a club, the 32-year-old trained independently before accepting Modena’s proposal in early September. The club offered him an agreement running until June 30, 2027, with a reported net salary of €300,000, and he has already scored twice for his new side.
