According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Aston Villa have made an approach to Club Brugge regarding 22-year-old Ecuador international Joel Ordonez as they look to strengthen at centre-back. The Belgian club’s defender is among the options being considered by Villa, though no agreement has been reached. Ornstein also notes that no deal has been concluded for Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
