Football España reports that Barcelona are discussing a new contract for Xavi Espart that could increase his release clause from €20 million to €150 million. Brian Farinas is also expected to receive improved terms, but no agreement has been confirmed.

Update (X – @FabrizioRomano): Fabrizio Romano reports that Xavi Espart has officially signed a new long-term contract with Barcelona. The agreement keeps him at the Catalan club until June 2030, with the completion confirmed in the source post. The update concerns a contract renewal rather than a transfer to another team.
