Chelsea and Real Madrid eye Martin Zubimendi

BBC Sport reports that Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who may consider leaving the club during the January transfer window. The report presents the story as part of a wider round-up of transfer gossip rather than as an advanced negotiation or completed move. It also says that Mauro Icardi would be open to joining Everton, although Everton are playing down suggestions of a move for former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial. The available information does not indicate that talks have reached an advanced stage or that any agreement has been reached for Zubimendi.
