Como president reveals Petar Sucic deal collapsed over fees

Calciomercato.com reports that Como president Mirwan Suwarso has discussed the club’s recent dealings with Dinamo Zagreb and Inter. Suwarso said Como had reached an agreement with Dinamo for Petar Sucic, but the transfer was abandoned after agent commissions were considered almost as high as the player’s fee. Sucic subsequently joined Inter, while Como turned to Martin Baturina as an alternative opportunity. Suwarso explained that Fabrizio Romano had initially brought Baturina to his attention, prompting Como’s data department to assess whether the Dinamo midfielder could adapt quickly to Serie A. The president added that Como had originally sought a player with Sucic’s number-eight profile, but positive data encouraged them to proceed with Baturina.
