Didier Deschamps rejects Manchester United offer

Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre reports that Didier Deschamps turned down an offer from Manchester United to replace caretaker manager Michael Carrick. The item is presented among Friday’s newspaper stories and transfer rumours, with no further details provided about the proposal or the club’s next steps. Deschamps is therefore the central figure in a reported managerial approach, rather than a confirmed appointment. The report does not indicate that any agreement was reached or that a change in the dugout has been completed.
