Estupinan and Terracciano to stay at AC Milan as Amorim and Cardinale shift priorities

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, AC Milan have decided to retain both Pervis Estupinan and Filippo Terracciano for the 2026/27 season. The change of plans stems from Ruben Amorim’s tactical preferences and Gerry Cardinale’s decision to focus remaining transfer budget on a centre-back and a trequartista rather than wing-backs. Estupinan had been close to joining Aston Villa before talks collapsed, while Terracciano is valued for his versatility and his role in fulfilling Italian-trained player quota requirements for European competition.
