Football Italia reports that Italy international Giorgio Scalvini has reached an agreement over a new contract with Atalanta. The development follows reported interest from Newcastle United during the summer transfer window. The available report indicates that an agreement is in place, although it does not provide details about the contract’s duration, salary or any other financial terms. Scalvini will therefore remain linked with Atalanta rather than moving to Newcastle at this stage. The defender’s new deal comes after the Premier League club’s reported pursuit, but no completed transfer to England is mentioned.
