Calciomercato.com reports that Inter and Federico Dimarco remain apart in negotiations over a new contract. The wing-back’s current deal runs until 2027, but the club is expected to activate a unilateral option taking the expiry date to 2028 before the end of the year. Dimarco’s representatives have indicated that the player would seek a salary of around €7.5 million, while the option extension would provide approximately €5.2 million. Inter are willing to improve his pay but have not accepted the requested figure, with optimism still reported inside the club over reaching a longer-term agreement. The proposed structure could include a lower fixed salary and more performance-related bonuses.
