Inter submit £30m bid for Curtis Jones as Liverpool exit looms

The Guardian reports that Inter Milan have lodged a formal offer of €30m (rising to €35m) for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones. The Italian club had already seen a €25m bid rejected in June, but with Jones entering the final year of his contract and no extension in sight, Liverpool appear unlikely to hold out for their original €40m valuation. Jones is widely expected to leave Anfield after 16 years at the club.
