Matteo Moretto reports that Joselu has reached an agreement to join Qatari club Al-Sailiya, with only the official announcement still pending. The former Real Madrid striker was a free agent and had received proposals from several Spanish and Italian clubs in recent months, as well as Eintracht Frankfurt and Union Berlin, but none resulted in an agreement. Joselu will continue his career in Qatar after previously playing for Al-Gharafa. The reported move is therefore advanced but not yet officially completed.
Update (Foot Mercato): Foot Mercato reports that Joselu has found a new club after leaving Al-Gharafa as a free agent. The former Real Madrid substitute will remain in Qatar, having committed to Al-Sailiya. The report identifies the move as completed, with the club currently occupying an unspecified position in its competition. No contract length or financial details are provided. Joselu’s destination is therefore confirmed as Al-Sailiya, while his previous club was Al-Gharafa.
