Juventus eye Sassuolo scout Davide Cangini

Calciomercato.com, citing Tuttosport, reports that Juventus are considering Davide Cangini for a senior player recruitment role within the club’s expanded sporting structure. Cangini currently leads Sassuolo’s scouting department and has worked alongside Giovanni Carnevali for six years. The 1974-born talent scout has also held roles at Bari, Spezia and Atalanta, where he learned from Giovanni Sartori. According to the report, Cangini is currently the leading candidate to oversee the identification of emerging players at Juventus, although the club is also evaluating several other profiles. No timetable has yet been set, with developments expected in the coming weeks.
