Football Italia reports that Juventus have officially completed the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Norberto Neto. The player returns to Turin as a replacement for Kamil Grabara.
Update (Calciomercato.com): Calciomercato.com reports that Norberto Neto will miss Juventus’ match away to Cagliari because of a suspension incurred during his final appearance for Botafogo. The Brazilian goalkeeper was sent off against Bahia on May 30 after insulting referee Davi de Oliveira Lacerda, who had awarded a corner after Neto held the ball for more than eight seconds. Neto’s lawyers successfully had the charge reduced from an offence against the honour of the officiating team to a simple offence, resulting in a one-match ban instead of the minimum four-game suspension. Neto recently returned to Juventus as a free agent to provide cover after the injury to Wojciech Szczęsny, but he will serve the sanction in Sardinia.
