Calciomercato.com reports that Juventus are preparing to assess Jeff Ekhator after an injury-hit start to his spell at the club. The Under-21 international joined from Genoa for €18 million in the summer but has yet to make his official debut after suffering a semitendinosus muscle injury following an earlier setback. His return is expected between late October and early November, with coach Luciano Spalletti set to evaluate him during the congested November-December period. Ekhator could provide the physical centre-forward profile Spalletti has been seeking and may compete for playing time in the Juventus attack. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a loan move until the end of the season is also being considered, which could influence the club’s plans for January.
