Manchester United eye Rayan Ait-Nouri

BBC Sport reports that Manchester United have identified Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri as a surprise transfer target. The report presents the interest as part of Wednesday’s transfer gossip and does not indicate that negotiations, an offer or an agreement has been reached. Ait-Nouri is therefore linked with a possible move across Manchester, while Manchester City are named as his current club. The same roundup also mentions Crystal Palace potentially considering England assistant coach Anthony Barry if Pierre Sage is dismissed, and Barcelona’s interest in Arsenal centre-back Piero Hincapie, but those stories are secondary to the headline item.
