Mauro Icardi pushed for Inter return

Mauro Icardi Galatasaray Italy · forward · 33yrs View timeline →

Calciomercato.com reports that Mauro Icardi made every effort during the summer to return to Inter as the club’s fifth-choice striker. The report presents the information as a surprising transfer-market background story, but says Inter did not open the door to the move. No negotiations, offer, agreement or financial details are provided in the available text. The account therefore describes an attempted return rather than a completed transfer or an advanced deal.
