Milan reject Mendes approach for Barcelona’s Balde, back Estupinan

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, AC Milan have turned down an offer from agent Jorge Mendes to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde, unwilling to spend over €40 million on the position. The club has instead reaffirmed confidence in Pervis Estupinan, who looks set to remain in Milan under Ruben Amorim. Balde, considered surplus to requirements at Barcelona following Cancelo’s return and the emergence of La Masia youngsters, will need to look elsewhere.
