The Guardian reports that Newcastle United are targeting Manchester City midfielder Nico González as a replacement for the departed Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães. González has failed to establish himself at the Etihad Stadium and could be part of a broader City clearout that also sees Omar Marmoush and Savinho move to Tottenham. Separately, Manchester United youngsters James Scanlon and Habeeb Ogunneye are set to join Arsenal, while Ethan Nwaneri has attracted interest from Fulham, Everton and RB Leipzig.
