Nkunku set to rejoin Leipzig on loan from Milan

According to Matteo Moretto and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Christopher Nkunku is closing in on a return to Leipzig on a loan deal with an option to buy. The French forward, contracted to Milan until 2030 but out of Morimoto’s plans, reportedly turned down Premier League interest, including from Newcastle, in favour of a move back to his former club. The deal would allow Milan to offload Nkunku’s salary of around €5 million per season.
