The Guardian reports that Chelsea have rewarded Pedro Neto with a new contract after the winger turned down interest from Manchester City and other Premier League clubs during the summer. Neto has committed to a five-year deal containing an option for an additional season, alongside improved financial terms. The Portugal international chose to remain at Chelsea and work under Xabi Alonso, who has deployed him as an attacking wingback. Neto has scored twice in five appearances this season and has recorded 40 goal involvements since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £54m in 2024. His renewal follows improved deals for several other key Chelsea players.
