Sporting CP hold talks with Paulo Fonseca

Get French Football News reports that Sporting CP have held talks with Olympique Lyonnais manager Paulo Fonseca about potentially replacing Rui Borges. CNN Portugal is cited as the source of the report, which identifies Fonseca as Sporting’s preferred candidate should Borges leave his position. Borges’ future at the Portuguese club is described as increasingly uncertain, but no dismissal or appointment has been confirmed. The report therefore concerns exploratory discussions over a possible managerial change rather than a completed move.
