Unai Emery in line for new Aston Villa contract

BBC Sport reports that Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is in line for a new contract with the club. The item appears in the outlet’s Thursday gossip roundup, which also mentions Liverpool midfielder Trey Nyoni staying at Liverpool and Leeds targeting Harvey Elliott. Emery is the manager directly involved in the contract-related development, while the other names are presented as separate transfer stories. No contract length, financial terms or confirmation of an agreement are provided. The report therefore indicates a possible extension rather than a completed renewal.
