Calciomercato.com reports that former Juventus CEO Damien Comolli had been close to signing Leonardo Balerdi for the Turin club. The defender, who is currently with Roma, was considered for a move to Juventus during Comolli’s time in charge. The report does not provide details of any final agreement, fee or completed transfer. Balerdi’s possible switch to Juventus therefore remains a past transfer attempt rather than a confirmed move.
