Genoa shortlist Giovanni Rossi as sporting director

Genoa are preparing to appoint a replacement for sporting director Diego López, who is heading towards Burnley, according to Matteo Moretto. Giovanni Rossi is included on the club’s shortlist, but negotiations are not yet close to completion. Two other candidates are also still in contention for the position. The report indicates that Genoa could define the succession in the coming days, although no agreement with Rossi has been reached and the identity of the eventual replacement remains undecided.
