BBC Sport reports that Manchester United are targeting Barcelona midfielder Fermín López. The brief gossip roundup does not provide details of any bid, negotiations or agreement between the clubs. It also says Barcelona are interested in Manchester United defender Lisandro Martínez, while Arsenal are monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi. López is the main subject of the headline, but the report does not state his current contract situation or indicate that a transfer is close. The available information therefore points to initial interest rather than an advanced move.
