Paulo Fonseca close to Sporting move

Foot Mercato reports that Paulo Fonseca is very close to joining Sporting after leaving Lyon. The Portuguese coach reportedly shared emotional farewells with his Olympique Lyonnais players following the victory over Angers. Details surrounding his departure from the French club are becoming clearer, although the available report does not state that Sporting have officially appointed him. The story therefore points to an imminent managerial change rather than a completed move. No financial terms or contract details are provided in the source.
