Sporting reach verbal agreement with Paulo Fonseca

Foot Mercato reports that Sporting want to complete Paulo Fonseca’s arrival before Wednesday. The Portuguese club is reportedly moving quickly to avoid delays in appointing the current Olympique Lyonnais coach. According to the report, Sporting have reached a verbal agreement with Fonseca, although the available information does not state that his appointment has been officially completed. The move would therefore represent a potential change of club for the manager, who is currently in charge of Lyon. Further details on negotiations between the clubs or on the timing of the appointment are not provided in the available text.
