Get French Football News reports that Zachary Athekame is expected to complete his loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais despite interest from AC Milan in recalling him. The 21-year-old Switzerland international joined Lyon during the summer on a season-long loan from the Italian club. Athekame has reportedly made an excellent start to his time in France, but Milan’s desire to bring him back has not changed the current expectation that he will stay with Lyon for the remainder of the loan. The report does not provide details of any formal agreement or financial terms.
